The next morning Jay wasn't able to talk or even see Zinon's figure in the apartment. That man had left without so much a word for him. And yet the two magazines from last night were thrown at a nearby bin. One had survived and was left at the table. Jay picked it up before leaving for work.
He had expected to catch him in his office but the man was a no-show. Only when the twins informed him that the company was in the middle of negotiation with a possible business partner and the boss decided to spearhead the project. Thus, he will be in a constant meeting with the top executives of the company starting today and in the afternoon he would be at a joint gathering with the opposite's own team.
