11 LUKE All f*****g night, I waited to hear something from Evan. I was hoping he’d find a way for me to get to Lara, but he didn’t. That could only mean one thing . . . he didn’t see Lara’s sadness. I should’ve done what I was going to do in the first place and demand for Lara to listen to me. I was done being nice. If she was truly over me, I wanted her to say it to my face. “Dude, let’s go,” Chance shouted. Huffing, I looked over and nodded. His bike roared to life and I put mine in gear.
