Aiden stormed into the queen's chamber, his eyes ablaze with a mix of fury and disbelief. Queen sat on her throne, her expression composed but her eyes revealing a depth of calculation.
"What treachery is this?" Aiden demanded, his voice echoing through the vast chamber.
The queen met his gaze with an unwavering calm. "Aiden, my loyal servant, there are matters at play beyond your comprehension."
He clenched his fists, the remnants of the shattered bond still haunting his senses. "You broke the bond. How? Why?"
Seraphina stood, her regal presence unwavering. "I did what was necessary for the preservation of our realm. The bond between you and Alara was a threat to the stability of the throne."
