CHAPTER ELEVEN

Walking to his class, Jave's mind ran with different ideas of how to apologize to Amber and coming up with the best choice, he settled for class with his mind racing with different end results of the plan. With little to no attention on the coursework, he wished it over before it even started and seeing as it was a two hour long class, he moved his attention to the window thirty minutes later where he noticed Amber in an uncomfortable conversation with two guys who seemed to be having the time of the day. Watching her fidget with her purse for a while, he excused himself from the class and ran straight to the field where he saw them breathing in her personal space.

'Is everything okay here my love?' asked Javice and upon hearing his voice, she breathed a sigh of relief and at that moment realized how much just his presence comforted her, thinking to herself 'what a joke you are Amber Crooks', she saw the two men leaving the field hurriedly since she wasn't really paying attention, she wasn't really sure of what Javice had said to make them look like wet rats.

'Thank you for that' Amber said and with that turned her back to leave before she was halted by her name being called by Javice still with her back to him, she answered a yes and was surprised when like air, she sees him right in front of her.

'I'm sorry Amber for how I acted last week and for the silence all week he started'

'It's fine' she replied while thinking the bad boy begs.

'No, it's not, you're not even looking me in the face, I understand that you're angry but I'm really sorry' he responded and seeing her shine her amber glory right into his grey orbs blessed his day and to this, he smiled at her.

Well, I'll be damned if this smile doesn't make me want to do nasty things with this man right here and now. My panties are dropping her inner girl screamed.

Shaking her head profusely as if to send the thoughts out, she couldn't help but imagine where those thoughts even came from. Seeing her almost debating with herself; he brought her out of reverie with a 'am I forgiven now?' to which she shakes her head a no.

'I was really worried when Dylan said you weren't in class too' she said

'I'm really sorry but I had to go back home for some family emergencies' he stated further

'Oh, everything okay?' she asked

'Yes, now am I forgiven?' he probed. Seeing her nodding a yes, he was happy and she was surprised to find herself pulled into a hug from him. Without thinking this action through before, it came as a surprise to both of them when she relaxed in his arms and it was at this point Javice thought to himself she's finally letting go of her fears, she must trust me then’ while feeling a b***r grow.

Damn if this woman won't be my undoing. Beating himself up for thinking like this, his inner man started practicing the Kama sutra while yelling out a hell yes, lets get down to business, Im down if you are. Realizing that his b***r might become embarrassing if he indulged the s****l thoughts, he pulled out of the hug while hearing her whisper; to the end of the world, I'll honor your sacrifice Alv, a tattoo inscribed right on his arms, a place she could have seen during their hug.

'What does that mean Javice?' she asked and got a 'it's a tattoo in honor of special to me' back from him.

'Okay then, I hope you're honoring his sacrifice though' she asked and with a pant dropping smile and a yes, she dropped the topic.

She certainly was happy for how far he had let her in today, it didn't take a genius to know that Javice had so many secrets and she was willing to wait till he was finally ready to let her in no matter how long it took.

When she finally gets to know all about how I have before now lived, I hope she's still willing to give us a chance Javice thought.

'I can't go back to my class now, do you want to eat out with me before Dylan is done or something' he asked her

'Oh, will your class finish that late?' she asked back

'I guess, it's been about an hour though, so there should be about one hour left' he said

'Well, it would be bad if you missed that long a lecture, since you already did all week' she chipped in

'This isn't high school baby girl plus I already perused his material, I'll be fine' he smiled and with that, they proceeded to the café in the faculty.

'Hello handsome' someone breathed on his arm. Pretending not to hear that, he proceeded to move his arm but was surprised when he felt the person holding unto him. Staring down at the individual, he couldn't help but look to Amber for help but when he found her staring back at him with a questionable expression, he couldn't help but ask

'I'm sorry, do I know you?'

'Yes you do, I turned you down for bathroom s*x at some party a while back, I probably didn't realize how parking you looked' she flirted and with this realization, Amber felt so embarrassed, so he's really a bad boy she thought. Deciding to keep her cool, she remained there to listen to his response

'Okay and? 'he questioned her.

'There's a bathroom here, if you're down I am' she breathed but what shocked Amber was the look of pure anger on his face couple with the fact that he was laughing in the girls face

'b***h, if you don't get out, at that party, I only wanted you because I didn't yet have a woman but I do now and you're here making a fool of yourself 'he stated and with a gasp from the girl trying to hide her embarrassment, she started leaving but not before Javice yelled 'you might want to draw your shirt up, your peaches are falling' with a smirk.

Turning to look at Amber, he started to explain 'that was before I really met you baby girl, I'm sorry about her'

'You dont have to explain yourself Javice, were really just friends' she said and was surprised when he said 'for now we are, soon, I'll call you mine' and with that, she threw her head down to hide her blush while they ventured to the café to actually get drinks without interruptions.

'Look who kept who waiting today' Dylan mocked on their way home.

'I'm sorry Dylan, I went to get drinks with Javice and you won't believe I met his close to one night stand' she said

'Wait, what? He brought her to you or what?' he asked back

'No, we met her on our way to get drinks, Javice embarrassed her though, I somewhat feel bad for her, he even called me his woman in her face' she said.

'Well, how do you feel about him sleeping with random females' asked Dylan

'Not much really, I'm a little mad he's that lose sexually though but I still understand all these was before he met me, so I'm good with him' she commented

'Look who's all grown up and wise now' mocked Dylan and this earned him a knock on his head

'Drive will you peasant, I'm hungry' she commanded and with that the Crooks twins burst into laughter.
