Gabe’s POV I woke bleary eyed the next morning, my head hurt and for once, it wasn’t because I deserved it. I got ready for work and had Archer meet me, it was already light outside despite the early hour, but for the time of year it was a given. Normally I loved the early mornings mid-summer brought, but today, I wanted to hide in the cover of darkness. Alas, this wasn’t going to happen. We got into my car and quietly made our way to the office. There was no banter or small talk this morning.
