Gabe’s POV
I jumped out of the pool, as Hallie and Chloe seemed to have full control of the teaching session. I grabbed a towel and dried off, shaking my hair off over Zeke, which earned me a growl, before he tried to pick me up, not without a fight first.
As we grappled at the side of the pool, Chloe and Hallie took Isla and Obi out of the pool as they all laughed and cheered us as we took our play fight a little more seriously than perhaps, we should have. As we reached the edge of the pool, I fell backwards, grabbing Zekes shirt and pulling him in with me.
As we both broke the surface of the water for air, we could hear the kids cheering.
‘Now, now children! Are we quite done acting the fools?’ Ezra teased.
‘Again, Again’ Obi cried.
‘Nope! I am officially waterlogged’ I admitte
