Yoshiki didn't know how long he had been asleep when he opened his eyes. He sat upon the sofa; he looked out at the open balcony door and beyond to sun shining in the sky. Yoshiki knew without being outside that he could tell it was like an oven out there.
He blinked his eyes to push down the urge to go back to sleep. Swinging his legs off the sofa, Yoshiki stood up and removed his t-shirt. He was not used to sleeping wearing a top; it made him feel uncomfortable. Throwing the t-shirt onto the sofa, he walked to the door leading to the kitchen; he was starving, and he wanted to make some food for himself, but knowing that his brother was most likely coming back, he made more than enough for two people, speaking of which he wondered where he ran off to.
Opening the fridge, he was met with space. There was nothing to cook with. It was completely clean; he had forgotten with all that happened him to go shopping, closing the door of the fridge, he left the kitchen and went about preparing to go to the grocery and getting himself some vegetables to cook with; he had nothing to eat since yesterday's lunch; it was a miracle that his stomach was not growling with hunger.
Getting his keys and shoving his feet into his shoes, Yoshiki cheerfully headed out of his apartment, when he got to the ground floor, as he approached the glass doors leading outside to the parking lot, he heard someone yelling behind him, looking back, he saw a woman wearing a suit running towards him; she was wearing high heels with a thin and very long heel; he wondered how she could walk on them or, for that matter, how she could run in them, as was the case now.
The women come to a stop in front of him. He patiently waited for her to speak. She was wearing the apartment staff uniform, which meant that she worked here. He hoped there were no problems with his lease.
Su Yuya took a moment to compose herself. She has been working here for about three years; she was the person people went to see when they planned on moving out. Su Yuya would look over the necessary paperwork, then she hands them to the manager of this apartment complex.
She has seen Mr. Garcia around quite a handful of times but they never actually met face to face, today was the first time they met each other, she was rather sorry to learn that he was moving away but happy when she found out that he was moving back home with his older brother, everyone in the apartment building felt sorry for him since he has a hard time getting to know people, they all felt he would be lonely for a lifetime.
Every Time she saw him pass by her, she felt that his back looked rather lonely. Straightening her back a bit, she smiled and raised her head. "Mr. Garcia, I have prepared all the necessary paperwork you need to end your lease. I have all the paperwork with this folder, they're organized in the order they need to be done."
Holding up the black folder, she waited for him to take it before continuing, "when you're done filling them out, hand them back to me and I will look it over to make sure there are no mistakes, and if there are none, I'll pass them off to my Superior."
Finished with speaking, Su Yuya bowed low to him before smiling apologetically, " I must get back to work, excuse me, Mr. Garcia,'' she rushed away. She had a meeting in five minutes. She felt that Mr. Garcia would understand.
Yoshiki looked at the receding figure of the woman before looking down at the folder in his hand. Opening it, he skims through the papers and realizes that they were lease forms for his apartment. Flipping the folder close, he left the building; it looked like he was moving out soon and would complete a mission with little effort.
In the parking lot, he found the car he stole from Kenchiki and drove out of the parking lot, while he headed toward a grocery about three miles from his apartment complex, the smell of delicious food drifted into the car, he could feel his stomach twist itself into knots as he drove closer and closer to whatever the smell was coming from, giving up on waiting to cook his food, he drifted the car to the next lane, and drove off the main road, he drove his car following the smell for about five minutes before he stopped in front of a small restaurant seeing as the smell came from inside he parked the car on the side of the road, and got out of it.
He looked at the sign over the establishment which was {Ivywood}, it was the place where the original was killed, odd, today was the day he was assassinated, thinking back what Daisuke said about mistaken identity, he needs to sit far away from everyone so that he doesn't get assassinated by accident; he walked towards the door and opened it. Inside, it was vacant, with only a few people inside. He looked at the lined tables and chairs; he sat at an empty one far away from everyone with the chair facing the door, looked at the decor, and couldn't help but like it.
He heard footsteps and saw a server in front of his table. "Welcome to Ivywood sir, here is the menu, you can take a moment to look it over and I'll wait for your order."
He took the menu that was held out by the server and opened it to look it over; he ordered two meat dishes, Sweet and Sour Pork and Kung Pao Chicken, Chow Mein, and Spring Rolls for the main dishes. For dessert, he ordered pumpkin cakes along with iced tea.
The server took the menu back, the server then promptly bowed to him before leaving to take his order back to the kitchen.
The server was gone for some time and Yoshiki closed his eyes to breathe in all the distinct smells of the food within the area, trying to pick them out and taste by breathing it in. He was drowning in all the delicious smells.
He heard the server move around before he left again. Opening his eyes, he looked at the iced tea placed in front of him. Lifting the small teapot, he poured it out into the cup before placing it back down; he lifted the cup towards his mouth and took a sip. Sighing in content, Yoshiki happily drank his tea, he for whatever reason, always enjoyed iced tea. He could drink it for an entire year straight and he won't tire of it.
While he was enjoying his tea, they brought all his food out. Placing his cup on the table, he picked up his chopsticks and ate; the food tasted superb, the chow mein especially. Within a span of fifteen minutes, he quickly but elegantly finished everything except the pumpkin cakes.
Meanwhile, the dishes were taken away from him. He ordered another pot of iced tea; he started on his second pumpkin cake when the fresh new pot was placed in front of him, placed down his cake on the plate, and poured out the iced tea onto his cup again, placing the pot on the table, he lifted the cup towards his mouth, as the cup was lifted there was a sudden silence before there was a sudden loud whip-like Bang! and the sound of Porcelain smashing into pieces
