Yoshiki shoved the door closed behind him and hauled Alister into the middle of the living room before letting the foot he was holding drop. After he ruthlessly kicked Alister in the stomach, he moved towards the kitchen to get something to drink, completely ignoring the groan of pain the unconscious man let out.
Taking some sips of the juice he got from the fridge, he made his way over to the prone Alister, suddenly imagining all the ways he could kill him so he doesn't get between him and Kenchiki. Maybe he could slowly cut off all his limbs until he was a headless torso, maybe string him from the ceiling fan and turn it on, or maybe cut all his tendons and watch as the realization of never moving again shows in his eyes, but sadly he had to save him instead.
Yoshiki looked down at Alister and found that he had a problem. Where was this i***t supposed to recover because it sure as hell isn't on his bed, hell would freeze over before he gave his precious baby to this low life of a species?
There was also that teeny tiny problem that Alister had his lover and brother killed in his last life but also planned to kill him in this life too, frankly the only place Yoshiki wanted him to sleep in was six feet under with the added bonus of never waking up.
Although, he may as well give him some place warm and comfortable to wake up in, to give him a false sense of safety until the time came to kill him.
He then dragged Alister off to the side before rearranging the room; the table, which was originally placed in the middle of the living room, was placed to the side of the first couch, the side tables placed near the balcony door.
Yoshiki then reached underneath the couch and pulled the handle, stepping backward to come to a stop a few feet away from the TV, and placed the edge he was holding on to the ground to finish the bed. He turned on his heels and headed towards the bedroom. Coming to a stop in the middle of the hallway, he turned to face the wall that held what looked like artistically placed coat hangers.
He started looking around for the knob that led to the secret storage room that could solve all his problems (he came to know about it while going through the original soul's memories) after finding the knob that was a size smaller than the other ones; he grabbed ahold of it and turned it to the left until he heard an audible click of the lock releasing. When he entered the room beyond it, he first noticed the shelves with colorful containers containing different things, the middle of the room was a table with an area of some sort of ironing station, there were also scissors, glue, buttons, and other things on top of it.
Yoshiki ignored them to look around some more. He walked to the back of the room and turned the corner. There was a washer and dryer in that section of the room, as well as a metal rack with clothes hanging off of it. Over the washer and dryer was a small shelf holding washing tools, such as soaps and fresheners. He moved his eyes around, locating what he was looking for and removed the first aid kit from the shelf, quickly looked around, he grabbed a clean sheet, a pillow, and two blankets.
He walked back into the living room and spread the sheet over the pullout and put the pillow at the head of the bed and put the blankets aside. He ran back into the kitchen and grabbed three bowls of hot water, clean clothes, ice, and a trash bag.
Finished with his preparations to take care of injuries and wounds, Yoshiki went over to Alister to start treatment.
He turned Alister onto his back then took out a pair of those gloves doctors used (he gleefully snapped them onto his hands like those psychotic/mad scientists) from the first aid kit and scissors to cut the shirt Alister was wearing down the middle. Seeing a wound that was bleeding, he grabbed a clean cloth and dipped it into the hot water to clean away the fresh blood. He also took the liberty of cleaning off the dried blood and any dirt.
Finished cleaning, he grabbed another cloth and pressed it firmly onto the bleeding wound to stop the blood flow. After holding it there for about 5 minutes, he lifted one edge of the cloth to check if it was still bleeding. Finding that it wasn't he washed the wound with soapy water not caring if it hurt or not, after that he rinsed the area off with clean water and patted it dry with some tissue, he then applied a special cream that promoted faster healing and as it dried, it would act as a bandage to keep it covered.
He moved on to the bruised areas which covered a majority of his upper body, especially his face (seems like his dear brother had a personal vendetta). Grabbing some smaller clean pieces of cloth, he put ice inside them to make an ice pack and put it over all the areas of bruising, especially over his left eye, and left it be (not caring is he would end up with half a face of numbness because of the cold).
He removed a small bottle of Toradol solution and a clean needle from the first aid kit and injected it into the muscle of Alister's left hand, it should relieve his pain but he can only give this injection to him for five days. There were two reasons; the first is it needed to be prescribed by a doctor and second, the side effects were too much; dizziness, drowsiness, headaches, and upset stomach. He reveled because Alister will feel like hell when he wakes up.
Yoshiki sighed in relief when he was done treating him as his knees were complaining from being on the floor this whole time, and his arms felt heavy because of having to hold them up as he had to hold an ice pack on every one bruise and for 20 minutes too. He was dead tired.
No wonder Male leads only get shot in novels, it was less of a hassle and no female lead would have the ability or practicality to deal with that as it was too much work to take care of cuts and bruises. They would also need to be checked on every 5 to 6 hours and the patient constantly needs pain relievers and they take a long time to close and heal. It's going to be hell taking care of Alister, and he contemplated just ditching him but told himself to push through.
As Yoshiki was packing up the first aid kit when he noticed something on Alister's leg. It was blood. He noticed how red the area of his thigh was and the blood that was leaking from there. Looking at the pants that were now dyed red, he quickly cut off the pant leg from just above the bleeding area. He looked at the deep cut that was most likely made by a knife and took out a small antibacterial cream from the kit to prevent infection. He put that aside and washed the cut thoroughly with a small amount of soapy water.
He then used wet cotton swabs to loosen and remove any blood or crust that may have formed. When the area was clean, Yoshiki covered it with a cloth and applied firm pressure without letting go for five minutes.
He checked to see how deep the cut was and knew he didn't need to do stitches but the muscles of the leg that were damaged would take at least 10 days to heal, but until then, it needed to be bound tightly. After applying a thin layer of the antibacterial cream, he placed a piece of gauze and wrapped a bandage over it to make sure it would not come undone when he moved around.
This time Yoshiki made sure to check him over before finally packing everything away into its rightful place.
Lifting Alister Yoshiki put him on the bed gently, not wanting all his efforts to be for nothing if he dropped him onto it (like how he was so wanting to do), and covered the man with the two blankets. He put the first aid kit to the side and got a jug filled with water, a glass, and a bottle of pain relievers from the kitchen for the man when he wakes up.
After placing those onto the table now next to the bed, he turned off the lights and left the living room. Rubbing his aching neck, he sighed deeply. It was almost seven now, and it was five-fifteen when he started treating him. It took so long, and now that it was over, he was missing Kenchiki. He briefly wondered where he was, but pushed that thought aside as he entered his bathroom to take a quick shower and change into sweats. He dropped into his lovely bed and fell asleep almost immediately after his head hit his pillow.
