Chapter Twenty Six

1300 Words
Feeling the hands on his body and the warm breath on his neck, he felt goosebumps forming on his body.  He was reminded of Damon, the way he felt beside him; heavy, solid, grounding him in the present. The silky smoothness of his skin under his touch, how he smelled of smoke, sweetness, and the oddest one, coldness. Even now, his laughter rang like bells in his mind every time he let his guard down. All of it haunts Yoshiki, reminding him he's had a taste of sweet poison, tasted their sweetness of it. Yoshiki had given into its sweetness and now he can never escape, but he never wanted to escape. He was too deep, he never wanted to surface from it.   He pushed down the temptation and reached the hand that had almost pulled his belt from his pants, while trying to calm down his heart, it couldn't happen, not yet he needs to eliminate any chances of the male protagonist getting together with his brother; he needs to be more patient.   He pushed his head away from his brother, looking at the glazed-over eyes, and the pink that was forming on his brother's face and his chest that was moving up and down with his breathing, he suddenly hated the i***t behind the door, he needed to go soon. He removed himself from the compromising position they were in and took two steps back; he waited and- he could see the awareness coming back into Kenchiki's eyes, his eyes were cast down and he couldn't see the emotions within them, but he suddenly felt a chill go up to his back, he felt like he dug a pit for himself.    Looking at Kenchiki, he saw no signs of him plotting against him. He knew the signs unless there were recent signs in this lifetime. He could feel an oncoming headache. In the first word, Damon planned to wake him up with breakfast in bed, but what he woke up to was smoking filling his lungs, a kitchen on fire, and oddly enough a toaster with a fork stuck in it and with its sides dented in, after that experience he learned to memorize every sign of plotting that his lover showed, unfortunately, that didn't save his house from being burnt to the ground. Kenchiki felt like killing something, he was so close to getting into his brother's pants, but before he could even get started, his prey escaped from claws, one thing was for sure by the end of the month, he would get into those pants and then he would eat him clean but until then…. He looked at his brother before putting on a shocked expression, "Yoshiki I know that I'm very handsome, but that is not a good reason to push against the door, these things need to be done behind closed doors," then he pushed past his brother and walked towards the bathroom, with a clear conscience, of course. Yoshiki "......" Yoshiki stood frozen for half a second, trying to process what just happened, how did he suddenly become the thief that molested someone, when he clearly remembered it was him that had hands all over him, he sighed mournfully, his lover in this lifetime was even more shameless, turning black into white, he was evidently the attacker, but why was he the one that was constantly being taken advantage of. Knock!! knock!! knock!! Yoshiki recalled what Daisuke informed him of. He looked back into the hallway to make sure that Kenchiki was gone before swinging the door open. Standing behind the door was none other than the male protagonist of this world. Clad in a black T-shirt and jeans, dark hair, gray eyes, windswept hair that fell onto his forehead, straight nose, a striking face, and a body with light muscles, he gave off the feeling of brightness and kindness. Yoshiki felt the urge to smack him across the face for being such a pretentious little bastard. He hated people who pretend to be someone they were not, and he just wanted to kick the little s**t; he was the one man who ruined his family and caused the pain and anguish death of his brother.  He plastered a kind smile on his face, "please forgive me, I was preoccupied, may I help you with anything?" He continued to smile at the male protagonist. After all, people like him should be killed with kindness. They stood facing each one smiling kindly, and the other with a confused face, if anyone passed by they would be unexplainably be frightened by this scene, the smiling man was like one of those people from horror movies who offered you to use their home phone, before brutally killing you, fortunately for any poor souls, the only one who witnessed this scene was a cat and it had enough intelligence to hightail it from there. Alister felt goosebumps from the smile on the face of the man who opened the door, his scalp felt numb he felt like he walked into the claws of a monster that he can't escape, his instincts urge him to run for the hills, seeing the man raised eyebrows, he snapped out of his thoughts while simultaneously throwing them to the far reaches of his mind. If he had not done so and ran for the hills, and trusted his instincts, he may have escaped his horrible ending, and never would he have known the monster that hid behind that smile. Clearing his throat, he put a smile on his face, " Sir, I was wondering if you may have seen a man dressed in a bear costume, I'm with the Metropolitan Police Department, he was a criminal my department was tracking, and he disappeared in this building." Yoshiki looked over the plot again and saw nothing of that sort in the entire world summary. He frowned at the contents of the plot, dismissing his worries for the moment, he dropped his smile, " I'm afraid I didn't get out of my apartment, so I have truly seen nothing as of late, maybe you should try another door, I don't think I would be of much help."  With that, he slammed the door shut in the i***t's face, and proceeded to the sofa, and dropped into it.  "Daisuke, what did you mean by plot change?" ["I'm meant that the plot of the story suddenly changed. Not only does the assassin not exist in the past, but also it may be possible that someone is influencing the plot in a completely different direction. "] "What is the new plot?" ["The plot itself is the same but someone, a character most likely whose path was set in stone, is making different choices, for example in the assassin didn't exist in the plot, and the male protagonist was never supposed to meet you, but you met him today and the assassin yesterday."] "What does that mean?" ["A divine being is most likely interfering with this world, which shouldn't be possible as that is against the law."] ["I will try to find out more about the situation, but until then, I suggest being on guard. We don't know who it is and its purpose, so we should be more cautious in the future."] ["I will go inform the master of this recent development."] "Alright Daisuke, I'll do as you say. Come back quick." Yoshiki felt like killing something now. He missed the days where he only had to worry about not becoming a lazy person. He felt his eyes drop. The emotional rollercoaster he was in, and that he slept little, was finally catching up with him. As his eyes drifted closed, he swore he saw two men in the mirror mounted on the wall. Weird.
