Bridget studied me for a long moment, then exhaled. “You’re not going to rest until you do something about this, are you?”
“No.”
She shook her head, muttering something under her breath. “You’re still recovering.”
“I have recovered enough,” was my response. I had to leave this island and find Diane; I also needed to find out the identity of the person who was trying to kill me.
