“I guess the poison did more damage than I thought,” I murmured. It was the only explanation that made sense. I had been drugged, my mind clouded and so I must have said things I wouldn’t normally say.
Bridget didn’t say anything, but I could feel her watching me and it was clear that she didn't think so but if it wasn't what other explanation for my actions could there be?
“Perhaps, you would like to run some tests?” She said this at the risk of losing her head because what she was insinuating by doing some tests was that I had a mental illness. I ignored her and then remembered that I had planned to ask her something before the shootings happened.
