I hurried back to the palace trying to stay as calm as possible. Erika has told me that she had a place for me to escape to but I had to pretend like everything was alright until the plan was all set. It was going to be very hard to do so much though. I could not bring myself to pretend that everything was… “My lady? You are back early,” Adele seemed surprised that I was back already.
I smiled at her and said, “I just missed Jason so much, I don't think I've been spending enough time with him lately, you know?”
She said nothing to me. She looked as though she were hiding something. I asked calmly, “Is Jason in the nursery?”
