Diane's POV
My head was spinning, and my body was aching. I started to feel my eyes open slowly and heard the beeping sound of a machine. I looked around with my eyes to get a sense of my surroundings then I realised that I was in a dark room. I looked at my arm and saw an IV connected to me.
I surveyed the room for a few minutes then I tried to get up from the bed, but I was too weak to do so.
‘Where are we, Raven?’ I called out in my head but got no response from my wolf.
I waited for a couple of minutes in silence, then tried to reach out to her again. ‘Raven!’
