Bridget swallowed hard. "He’s overseeing the search himself, Alpha. The men are combing every possible route she could have taken."
I turned away, gripping the edge of the dresser so hard my knuckles turned white. Diane had planned this and somehow, she had outmaneuvered me.
She had run away from me.
A bitter chuckle escaped my lips. Of course, she had. Hadn’t I been waiting for this all along? Some part of me had known she would do this.
“Find her,” I ordered through gritted teeth. “I don’t care what it takes. I want her back before sunrise.”
