Diane's POV
It was the first time I had seen Jayden in a very long time. Since he had changed the staff and all I had not seen him. I had been waiting patiently for his investigations into me to be over so he could clear my name and I could regain my freedom but it had been all for nothing. I doubted he had even investigated me at all.
I could guess what his reaction would be if I told him that I was pregnant. He was too suspecting, too doubtful of everything. He would think that I had orchestrated this all along and I did so, so that he would become the father of my bastard child. I knew that would be his assumption. Perhaps, he would not be wrong to assume such a thing. After all, we had only been intimate once and it seemed like a lifetime away.
