Diane's POV
I had thought that I was only irritated from something I had eaten during the day or perhaps stressed out because I had walked almost the entire length of the palace in the name of a tour but when I woke up the next morning, my body felt sore all over and I was feeling feverish. I was so tired that I could not even sit up in bed.
So when Adele tried to help me up, I did not protest which I saw surprised her a little until she touched my body.
“My Lady! You are burning up!” she exclaimed as she withdrew her hand from my skin. I looked in the direction of her voice and Adele appeared to me like a poodle of sorts. I could not make out her face from her neck or her body. She looked very funny and this made me chuckle.
