DANTE'S POV.
As soon we arrived the airport, I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed Vito's number.
One ring, and he picked up.
"Don."
"Tell them not to touch a hair on that bastard's body. I returned to Italy on short notice because of him. I will finish him up myself."
"Yes Don."
I ended the call.
My men and I walked to the cars that had pulled up before us, and I hopped right in.
"Welcome back, Don." My chaffeur, Julio, greeted.
"Thank you, Julio."
"Where to?"
"Home. I need a change of clothes."
"Yes sir," he replied, before driving off.
Moments later, we got home.
I alighted the car and made my way in, ignoring the red car that was parked in the lot.
That Collombo lady was here again. Emily, or whatever her name was.
I had already gone halfway toward my room when I halted my steps. I needed to see my sister first.
"Alexa?" I called as I approached her room. "I'm back!"
Getting to the door, I knocked twice but got no response. A small frown slipped onto my face and I pushed open the door.
Ohhh, I shouldn't have.
My gaze fell to the bed and I Iiterally froze.
Dio santo...
That damned Collombo woman.
The soft, desperate sounds she made filled the room. Her hair spilled over the sheets, knees bent, thighs trembling, and her hand….
Her fingers were buried deep inside herself, moving with a rhythm that stole the air from my lungs.
I have had my fair share of women, and I had supposedly seen it all. So why the hell was I so thrown off at the mere sight of this woman sliding her fingers in and out of herself?
I exhaled hot air, as my eyes dilating at the sight before me.
Fucking hell...
I had to leave.
I tried to walk away quietly, but my legs failed me. I wasn't sure why, but maybe it was the painful, but subtle way she bit her lower lips to prevent herself from screaming out loud.
Or maybe it was because of how red her face and ears had turned. Or maybe it was how firmly she shut her eyes, lost in the pleasure she was giving herself.
Or maybe it was the amount of wetness that pooled down there...
My c**k twitched in my pants, and I felt overcome with embarrassment.
Suddenly, her eyes opened, pinning my shocked ones.
Fuck. f**k. f**k.
She seemed frozen for a moment, too shocked to even make a single move.
Deciding the situation was getting too intense, I finally willed my legs to move. I sincerely couldn't remember when last my heart beat so loudly, or my legs moved so fast!
That Collombo witch.
I wondered what could possibly be going through her mind.
I hope she didn't think I had been watching her the entire time? I would never reduce myself to such level!
I had simply walked into the situation. It was nothing I would have knowingly subjected myself to.
As soon as I got to the room, I peeled my clothes off my body and walked into the bathroom for a cold shower.
Once I was done, I brushed my teeth and threw on some fresh sets of clothes, the scene from Alexa's room plaguing me nonstop. Dio.
It was time to go see the man who made me mess up my schedule and return to Italy.
Carlo Rossi.
One thing I never tolerated from my men or even anyone else, was disrespect. And one thing that I shouldn't even hear of, is disloyalty.
Every underworld crime family thrived on ruggedity and loyalty. Loyalty, most importantly.
Carlo had betrayed the trust I had in him. And thinking his actions weren't going to come biting him in the ass was so stupid of him.
I left the mansion, and Julio drove me to our destination. The Ferrari farm.
My late parents used to own the biggest tobacco farm in Italy. After they both died, I took over as Don, and now we were three times bigger.
I walked through the very busy field of workers, heading towards the underground guardrooms at the far end of the field.
"Don."
I looked ahead to see Vito walking towards me.
"What's the situation of things?"
"The Marcolinis called a few minutes ago. They are demanding the release of Carlo." Hearing that, I stopped in my tracks.
"Demanding?" A humourless chuckle tumbled out of my mouth.
Walking closer to him, I pulled the gun out of his holster and headed for the guard room.
The Marcolinis should have known that no one made demands of me.
***************
It was already night by the time I got back home, and the moment I saw that red car still parked in the lot, my anger resurfaced.
The nerve of that woman!
As I made my way inside, I heard the soft laughter coming from the dinning room.
Calmly, I headed to the dinning room to see Alexandra and that deceitful woman eating.
"Dante!" Alexa yelled in delight as soon as she saw me. She stood from her seat and attacked me with a hug.
I gently patted her on the back, before pulling away.
"Aren't you happy to see me?" She pouted, but a different person had my attention.
She stared down at her hands, unable to hold my gaze.
I remembered the incident from that morning, and my heart rebelliously somersaulted.
"What is she still doing here?" I demanded, pushing aside that embarrassing thought.
"Who?" Alexa asked, looking around the dinning room cluelessly.
I pinned my gaze on the Collombo lady. "You."
She slowly looked up at me, uncertainty in her eyes.
"This should be the last time I ever see you in my home," I said. "Get out."
"Dante!" Alexa yelled in disbelief. "Don't speak to her that way."
"I will speak to Miss Collombo whichever way I please."
"No!" She shot back. "She is my friend, and you're embarrassing me."
"I guess you'd be even more embarrassed when Miss Collombo finally tells you she has been engaged to marry Marco Russo."
The entire room fell silent as Alexa looked at her friend in disbelief.
"Is that..." Alexa's voice shook. "Emily, is that true?"
Miss Collombo's lips quivered, finding it difficult to make out a word. Instead, tears rolled down her cheeks.
"P-please, Alexa. I can explain."
"There will be no need for that," I spat. "You're no longer welcome here, Collombo. Leave."
