DANTE'S POV
I was still seething in anger, unsure what my next step of action was going to be. Alexa insisted she wasn't the one who called the Collombos, so I could only conclude that Emily did more than texting Alexa, with Totò's phone.
Just then, my phone beeped and a notification popped up.
I looked to see it was a message from Doctor Alfonso, and when I opened it, my heart dropped in shock. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw.
'She's awake', I read the message over and over again, unable to process my thoughts.
It wasn't as though I hadn't prayed for this moment for the past five years. It just seemed so.... unexpected. Shocking. Exciting!
