EMILY'S POV It was already too late to call uncle Matteo or Agatha, to know how my mother was faring, so I decided to wait until morning. I had woken up really late, because I wasn't able to get any sleep until midnight. I woke up by some minutes past 11am, but didn't even bother to have my bathe before putting a call across to Agatha. She had picked up, but was unstable. I couldn't properly make out her words because the background sounded rowdy. She ended the call, but not before saying she was going to call me back. It was over two hours now, and she was yet to call back. I had my bath and brushed my teeth already, but didn't really have the appetite to eat the meal that the villa's chef had brought in a few hours back.
