My skin felt hot as I tossed and turned, unable to sleep. It was like something was happening and I wasn't sure what it was, but I felt it. I sat up, gasping for air. Amitayus was by my side in seconds.
"What's the matter?" He scooped me into his arms, concern adorning his face. I took a few deep breaths and tried to sit up. I only ended up melting into my mate's chest.
"I don't know." That was all I could say. I really didn't know what was wrong. I was sweating profusely and suddenly did not mind the idea of standing outside with no coat on.
