I was pacing for a while as Aurélie sat across the basement in meditation.
“How can you be so calm?”
She didn’t answer. I stopped to stare at her for a few seconds before continuing to pace. It felt like forever, but finally, Wyoming descended the stairs with Tigger behind him.

Moe turned to us and motioned for us to follow them upstairs. I was hesitant, but fell in line behind Aurélie. It was nerve wrecking waiting to hear about the incident. I wasn’t sure if anyone died or was injured. I started to tap Aurélie when a loud growl outside made me jump and run into the kitchen, crouching behind the island.
