Caydence's mom, Eloise, was pleased that her potion had worked. The supernatural realm wasn't much different from Earth. They had mixed families and creatures here too. I met a family living in our territory where the dad had 3 children with 3 different women. He was a ladies man, as we call it. And I had to admit, he was good-looking. He reminded me of Liam Hemsworth with muscles on muscles. But his blended family all got along.
Eloise was the only witch in our territory and she very rarely used her spells and potions, but when I spoke to her about Ophelia and my own experience with Blood Moon, she agreed to help. The original plan was a little more complicated. But when Caydence mentioned his mom was a witch, my mind went to work. I was glad it worked out. And no one had to die.
