Knight’s POV
I wasn’t thinking when I walked over there.
I had come to check how my bar was faring and maybe take a drink or two after dealing with Mr. Saturn. And trust me—he paid with his life, after he told me where the missing page from the folder was, of course. I wasn’t inefficient enough to kill him before getting my information.
I was seated with a drink in hand when the commotion started. From where I sat, I couldn’t see who was involved, but the raised voices were already ticking me off.
“Check who’s causing a disruption in my bar and send them out immediately,” I said, turning to Rowan. “I didn’t come here to settle fights. Send everyone out—and if they prove difficult, you know the rules.”
He nodded and walked away.
