Knight’s POV My anger knew no bounds when I read that message. We’re under attack from the Liam family. Just that one sentence was enough to drive out all the stupid fantasies I had been entertaining. This was the reality of my life—of my world—and it seemed that just because it had been quiet for a bit, I believed it would continue that way. That was naïve of me. But before anything else, I knew I had to get Aria out of here. I couldn’t be responsible for her getting hurt. I ignored her words as I walked over to my closet, already dialing Angelo’s number.
