When I walked into this bar, I wasn’t expecting to see Aria—talk less of being in this position with her.
I was in my office as usual when Rowan rushed in, his face hard.
“What commotion is happening now?” I asked, dropping the file I was holding as I focused on him.
“It’s not really a commotion, but… the staff at the gate just informed me that Miss Aria is here,” he finished, and I was on my feet already.
“She’s here? In the VIP bar?” I asked, and he nodded.
“I thought she probably came with Mr. Jean, but she looked alone when I checked earlier,” he said, and I was out the door already. What was she doing coming to a place like this alone?
