Was I pissed? Hell yeah. Am I ever going to admit the reason for my anger out loud? Probably not—but it sure did have something to do with how Knight got me all riled up and then just dipped like that. Like we were playing some push-and-pull game.
It took quite a lot… okay, maybe not, but still—it wasn’t easy for me to decide to just go with the flow, and he had to pull back at such a time.
Does that mean he didn’t like me? Could that even be an option?
Even with all these thoughts, I had no idea why I followed him home. It was funny, really—and odd, just like me—so I guess that checked out.
