Knight’s POV I stepped out of Aria’s house with mixed feelings. On one hand, I was relieved I had sorted out the issue. On the other, I wondered if she was still mad at me, seeing as she refused to see me out. I questioned why I was going this far to please her, to make it up to her, and I couldn’t come up with a proper reason. It just felt right to do it. I hated the thought of her saying she was fine staying away from me. I walked back to my car slowly. “Let’s head back home,” I said to Rowan, and he nodded, starting the engine immediately.
