Knight’s POV
I walked back to my table, a smile still playing on my lips. That girl was really something, managing to make me smile twice in a single day. Now even I was almost curious to see how she planned on making our next meeting happen just to get my number.
It was a fun distraction, especially considering how shitty my day had been.
I motioned to one of the guards, and he rushed over immediately.
“Did you send that bastard home already?” I asked, frowning at the thought of Conan and he nodded sharply.
If we weren’t working on this project together, I would’ve gotten rid of him a long time ago. Instead, I had to tolerate his sorry ass until we were done.
My frown deepened as the red marks on Aria’s wrist came to mind.
How hard did he grip her to leave a bruise like that?
