Syrene padded into his luxurious bathroom and took a long, hot shower, washing away the heat of the morning. Wrapping a plush towel around her body and grabbing a second one to dry her long hair, she walked back out into his bedroom. Sitting right on top of her folded jeans was one of Roman's oversized black T-shirts. She picked it up, pulled off her towel, and slid it over her head. She couldn't help but laugh softly at her reflection—the shirt hung past her thighs, looking absurdly huge on her small frame. But as she pulled the collar up, the rich, woodsy scent of his cologne washed over her, wrapping her in an odd sense of comfort.
