Episode 2

Chapter 2 Next day I woke up early, cleaned myself up to the best of my abilities and left to start my day.. I started by preparing breakfast and put them in containers to keep them warm while I took care of the rest of the chores.. I did the laundry next and delivered it to everyone's rooms.. lastly.. I cleaned the showers and as I was about to leave Cara and her b***h Squad came and as usual.. Cara is the Beta's daughter who is the biggest bully and it just so happens that she LOVES tormenting me, she LOVES the fact that my parents hate me so she knows that whatever she does or says to me will go unpunished so long as Aiden doesn't witness it.. She is obsessed with Aiden but she seems civil since Aiden found his mate.. Anyway.. Cara loves making my life more miserable than it is, even at school she won't leave me alone.. So as usual, she threw childish remarks at me.. I tried to ignore them but.. they pushed me and I knocked over the bucket I used while mopping the floors.. "That's right sweetie… you wolf-less she-wolf, stay down where you belong, actually.. from now on you should get down on your knees while you talk to us, that's how an outcast should treat the Beta!" "I am the Alpha's daughter Cara, I will never have to bow to you but you can knock yourself out every time u see me" That remark, although very true, cost me a lot of beating from them to my stomach and Face.. but I didn't care anymore.. when I was little and hadn't met my wolf yet.. I healed slowly.. but still faster than any regular wolf... but ever since I gained my wolf.. I heal 10 times faster, almost instantly, the only thing that slows down my healing is if I am beaten or stabbed with silver .. When they got bored of beating me they left.. those bitches.. what they did to me would take at least an hour or so to heal.. I was bleeding and I'm pretty sure I had at least one broken rib.. which totally sucks because bones don't heal as fast as bruises or cuts.. I made my way back to the kitchen and set the table for everyone, I wasn't feeling up to any arguing so I did as told for the most part.. Aaron asked me if I had sent out the invitations and when I nodded he let me make myself a plate, then Eva handed me a list of things I needed to get done for the ceremony which was in two days.. The list was from A to Z so I'd have to start today... or better yet.. right now After my breakfast, I had no time to rest, I started preparations and got half of the list done, I finished decorating the place where the ceremony would be held, made sure everything was perfect and started on the cooking, Aiden helped me a lot with decorating and most of the list in between his trainings, Aiden was also going to take the Alpha title on the ceremony so it was twice as special day for him... I then prepared most of the things and tomorrow I'd just have to assemble the meals.. My most concern was the desserts so I started on that, I baked almost 300 cupcakes, made some cheesecakes and of course the big wedding-cake looking cake for the ceremony, I put everything in the fridge and went to the river to wash to best of my abilities.. The water was FREEEZING but I smelled like sweat so.. I didn't have a choice Luna ceremony Today was the ceremony so I started to assemble the meals and put them out.. It was only a few hours before the ceremony started so I had to be quick.. just as I was going out with the tray of food tho.. Cara and her bitches came up to me.. Ughh.. why can't they just leave me the f**k alone... I didn't have time for them so I pushed past them, careful not to drop my tray and made my way into the crowd so they couldn't do anything.. as Cara and her b***h squad disappeared from the view I bumped into someone on the way... Nicola’s POV I hate these stupid ceremonies, I did not even plan to come but my pack is associates with the Red River Pack, plus there are quite a bit of unmated wolves and she-wolves in my pack that wanted to come so I had to, I am here with my Beta Ace, he’s my best friend and like my brother… I myself am 22 years old, I am an alpha to the Black Moon Pack, one of the biggest Packs in New York and all of US, we have over 1000 members and to say the least… I too am unmated but I’m not really looking for a mate .. I am all for mates and the mate bond but I don’t want to find my mate here in this pack as they are merciless and take innocent lives.. too bad I have no proof of their wrongdoings.. I’d be more than glad and willing to take them down but without proof, I’d be the same as them so I have to be patient.. This party sucks, tho the food is great, not gonna lie, I guess their omegas know their way around the kitchen but who cares.. I have to get out of here, I hate formalities and would love to find someplace quiet.. As I was about to ditch everyone and hit my guest room.. when someone pushed past me with such force, carrying a tray of food into the party.. I was about to apologize when I was hit with the most amazing scent of roses and fruit, it smelled like summer .. it sounds weird maybe.. but it was the most intoxicating thing ever… and I knew right away *Mate* Skylar’s POV As I bumped into the tall man who I didn’t even notice in front of me… I smelled something amazing, something unreal and so freaking intoxicating.. it smelled like snow and mint and sooo refreshing.. almost like winter but it was making me hot all over and all of a sudden I heard Fenris in my head almost shout *Mate* But before I could even glance back and see who my mate was Eva dragged me away by my hair causing a little scene and she didn’t let go until we reached the kitchen… “You i***t, you should watch where you’re going, you can’t just bump into everyone, do you even know how important that man is?? you almost knocked him over. He is the most feared and strong Alpha here tonight and you dare disrespect him?? And didn't I warn you to stay here and not show your face?? You are not to leave this kitchen, do you hear me??” "I was just doing my job, it was an accident, I am sorry mum" I said tearing up from the pain and embarrassment "For the love of goddess, I am not your damn mother bastard, don't you dare set a foot out there, got it?" "But Luna, it's Aiden and Lily's mating ceremony, and his Alpha ceremony, he is taking the title, I would like to be there for my brother, please" I begged almost crying "I said no and don't test my patience"  She was glaring at me and throwing daggers with her eyes.. I swear she was a second away from making smoke come out of her ears.. but as I was about to retort she slapped me across the face "NO, I am NOT missing my brother's big day, just please Luna I..."  Before I could say anything I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, Eva stabbed me... The pain was UNBAREABLE … I looked down and realized that it was a silver knife… Even tho I fell to my knees and was weak, she didn’t stop there, she started kicking me while I was laying there.. unable to move my body, Fenris wanted to come out and  kick her ass but I felt like the energy was draining from my body… I felt a few blows to my head and face and the last thing I heard before passing out was a very angry and powerful voice yelling and I could feel the house shaking… Nichola’s POV As I was about to follow the magnificent smell I was interrupted by the soon to be former Alpha of this shithole, Aaron was walking up to me with Aiden and his new Luna at his heel, they wanted to greet me and as much as I would have loved to blow them off, I knew it was going to cause the scene so I stayed a few seconds but I was eager to find my mate so I mind linked Ace, my Beta and stuck him with the hosts … As I was following her scent I could smell that something had changed.. her summery scent smelled like blood and I could feel she wasn’t feeling okay so I sped up and went to find her.. following her scent… But NOTHING could have prepared me for the scene in front of me… the former Luna was hitting my mate, my precious little mate, her daughter for goddess sake...  she wasn’t moving anymore and when I saw her eyes closing shut my wolf went into a full RAGE mode and I couldn’t hold him back anymore.. I could feel Fenrir coming to surface and I didn't stop him, I let him come to the surface although I didn't shift fully, he yelled at them before I could say anything *TOUCH HER AGAIN AND I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU* Everyone immediately looked at me but couldn't disobey my Alpha authority, even tho I was not their Alpha, I was one, strong and feared one at that so they didn't dare make another move...  I glared at them and the omegas behind Eva ran away immediately whereas she stood ashamed and looked down at once... I could feel the whole house shaking after Fenrir's yelling, I saw my Beta running behind me as he heard my roars, I ran to the beautiful creature who was laying there almost lifeless and scooped her up in my arms bridal style… Ace was starting at me with confusion in his eyes… and I mind liked him that the angel in my arms was it.. “She’s my Mate Ace, get the doctor” He immediately ran past me to do as told… as he did that I turned my head and spoke with rage, disgust and loathing in my voice.. "You should start praying that nothing happens to my beautiful mate, because goddess forbid .. if something does happen.. I won't think twice about ripping your throat out with my teeth!!" Panic washed over her face as I left the packhouse...
