Chapter 7

The next day

Skylar's POV

I woke up the next day wrapped up in Nico's arms, the sun was getting into the room through the window and it was shining directly in my eyes, it woke me up and I was a bit groggy..

"Can you please close the curtains??" I nudged Nico who was snoring slightly but he did not respond

"5 more minutes" he said in a sleepy voice that made me smile because he sounded so cute

"No rest for the wicked I am afraid.. we should get up" I said turning around to face him, I admired the man in front of me, he was so flawless, so perfect... goddess I could not get enough of this view..

As I was about to leave the bed Nico pushed me back on the bed and held me tighter to him..

"Babe, we have to get up, I want to finish packing before breakfast so we can leave early, will you please let me go and get up?" I asked pecking his lips 

"Mmm.. Okay, fine, but it will cost you a little more than  a peck" I smirked and kissed him deeper this time, he wasted no time either, he quickly thrust his tongue in my mouth, dominating the kiss right away, tasting ever inch of my mouth..

He rolled us over so he was on top of me, kissing me deeper and with more passion, the sparks I felt were indescribable.. my body was reacting to his every touch,..

He nibbled on my bottom lip as he moved his hand down to my shirt.. he slid his hands up my tank top and started massaging my breasts, squeezing them slightly, making a moan escape my lips..

When he heard my moans I could feel his lips twitching into a smile as he kissed my neck.. 

He was slowly kissing down my neck when he pinched my n****e a bit hard.. making me gasp.. 

My gasps did little to slow him down, instead he kissed my lips again as his fingers continued to twist my n*****s, our tongues fighting for dominance..

I gasped for air as he moved down to my neck, kissing and licking every inch of me.. finding my sweet spot, where his mark is supposed to go, nibbling on it.. biting down gently, causing me to moan harder..

He kept kissing and nibbling while his hands squeezed and twisted my breasts and n*****s, he started kissing lower and lower and soon he took my n****e in his mouth, sucking on it, biting gently, my moans uncontrollable at this point.. my mind darkened with lust.. my body hot all over, and the sparks I was feeling did nothing to cool me down..

I could feel myself getting all wet to my core.. as I felt the moisture rising Nicola's eyes darkened, lust filled his eyes much like mine... he continued kissing and sucking on me, giving my other n****e the same attention while his hands moved down.. he caressed my core over my panties, feeling the moisture underneath.. 

But when he slid his hands down and felt my core. I grabbed his wrists and stopped him.. my actions confused him as he looked at me with worry in his eyes..

"I am sorry baby.. Did I do something wrong?? Oh goddess.. Did I go too fast?? Are you okay??" he asked concerned

"No no.. please don't apologize, you did nothing wrong babe, it's just that.. no one has ever seen me naked or touched me or.. you know.. I shared my first kiss with you when you kissed me.. and I don't want to rush into all this.. this is all very new for me and I don't think I am ready to mate just yet.. I am so sorry" I said looking away, feeling a bit ashamed

"Hey.. shhh, it's okay baby, we don't have to have s*x, we can wait, there is no rush I promise, I can wait for as long as you need, I want you to enjoy it and feel good, I don't want to and I won't ever push you to do it unless you are ready babe, I give you my word princess" he said reassuringly..

"Thank you, you really are the best" 

"Of course baby, and no need to thank me, I love you, I would do anything for you" as soon as he said he loved me he looked at me wide-eyed and a bit scared, it was so sweet to see him a little startled, it was so sweet that he was scared of my reaction.. so I grabbed his face and planted the biggest kiss on him

"I love you too Nico" his eyes widened and instantly they filled with happiness

"I could never get enough of hearing you say that angel! Goddess I am so relieved, I thought I pushed it too far after telling you that I didn't want to pressure you"

"You are so adorable, I was actually waiting for you to say it because I always dreamed that my mate would be the first to admit his love to me"

"Aww.. my baby is a little romantic??" 

"Maybe" I said blushing

"Okay, we seriously need to get up and finish packing, do you have anything left to do here or can we leave right after we pack??"

"There will be a trial for the Luna for attacking you but after that we can go"

"A trial?? So you have to make a decision about what happens to her??"

"Not necessarily, I will have a big say in what happens to her but the elders usually make the decisions in matters such as this, but she did attacked my Luna after all so I will have quite the influence, and I  will NOT let her actions go unpunished"

"You won't kill her right??"

"Well, such extreme measures are only taken if the attacks are conducted multiple times, which in this case she did so it is a possibility that she could face that outcome"

"Please don't kill her" I said without thinking

"Baby I don't want to kill her, that's why she had already been given a chance to stay away and been warned multiple times before it came down to trying her for the offences she has committed, but even then she decided not to listen, so whatever happens today, it's all on her"

"Can I take part in her trial??"

"If you want, you are my Luna, you can take part in anything I do baby"

"Really??"

"You can actually make the final decision instead of me, as she attacked you"

"But you are the Alpha, the decision is yours, right??"

"And you are my future Luna, from now on you are just as qualified to make decisions as I am, plus, I trust you and your judgement, I know I can always count on you to be sincere and just in your decisions and I will always support you"

I have never seen or had anyone put their hopes in me or trust me to make any decisions, hearing my mate say that filled me with admiration and gratefulness towards him, his words made me so happy I couldn't help the tears

"Heyy.. baby don't do that, no tears, was it something I said?? I didn't mean to upset you angel"

"No, no, I am not upset, I am just happy I found you and have you in my life"

He gave me a gentle kiss and hugged me tight

"I will always have your back. No, what do you want to do with her??"

"Look, I really wouldn't have cared what happened to her or this pack for that matter a few days ago but now that this pack belongs to the only person who has ever cared about me.. I can't just stand by, whatever happens, I can't let Eva die, for one she is Aiden's mum and I could never take her away from him, no matter how horrible she is or how miserable she has made my life, she was wonderful to Aiden, she was always caring and loving towards him and I can't just be the reason his mum is murdered, I could never live with myself, whatever she did or tried to do.. I am still here, alive and well so it doesn't matter.. she won't ever hurt me and I am never setting a foot in this pack so.. I won't even see her after today"

"It's your choice baby, but I can tell already that you are going to make an excellent Luna to our pack"

With that he kissed me again and we left to attend the trial.

TRIAL

When we got to the conference room in the pack's library all the Alphas from the neighboring packs were already waiting for us.. Nico didn't let go of my hand for a minute, I sat next to him and the hearing began..

Honestly I got so bored I zoned out for the most part, I could only hear Eva's sobs and pleading from time to time but no one seemed effected by her terrible acting.. 

When the hearing came to an end Nicola spoke

"As all of you know, I have the final say in what her sentence will be as her attacks were directed towards my mate, my Luna, and we all know that this type of offense never goes unpunished, but since she attacked Skylar, she will decide with me what kind of punishment Eva will get"

"You expect me to receive a punishment for my Luna from a nobody like her??"

"I would choose my words wisely when you address my mate Aaron, as my Luna, she has every right to make this decision even without my intervention, and she will, I trust her judgement and whatever she decides, will be the punishment for your mate, if anyone disagrees with the legitimacy of Skylar's right to make this decision may speak up now"

"He is right Aaron, as his Luna she has all the rights to make a decision in this trial" agreed the other alphas attending the meeting

"As there are no more objections, the floor is Skylar's" said Nico and motioned for me to speak while looking at me with nothing but love and admiration in his eyes, I mouthed a "thank you" to my mate and stood up to speak

"As all of you know I am a ward to Eva, she has never been a mother figure to me but since Aaron, my dad never acknowledged me either, I never blamed him. Eva has always been cruel and unfair to me, and I knew why she hated me, because I was a daughter of her mate who she didn't give birth to, so I get where her hatred came from, but what I never understood is how a mother could ever be so cruel to an innocent child, my only mistake was being born but holding me responsible for just being born was something I never understood"

"Get to your point" Aaron sneered 

"Interrupt her again and you will leave immediately" Nico said while glaring at him

"Eva, I know you have always hate me, but I always hoped that one day you would change and be as loving and a good a mother to me as you have always been to Aiden, btw, you should thank Aiden because he is the only reason I wanted to be the one who decided on your punishment.. All my life no one but Aiden has ever been kind to me, and for that I could never repay him, but today I can, Eva you are facing a death sentence, but I won't be the reason you die, I don't ever want to be the reason for anyone's death, and your blood will definitely not be on my hands, I could never be the reason my brother's mum died, so instead of a death penalty, I decided on the punishment that would not result in your death, but it also wouldn't be so minimalistic that you didn't feel that you are being punished"

"So, what's your verdict then Sky??" Asked Aiden, he looked very relieved that his mum would not be facing death but he still looked scared of what was about to come

After my speech, I sat back down next to Nico and he immediately locked our hands together..

"My Luna and I have decided that Eva will be banned from the pack's territory and will be permanently placed to live in the human-neutral territory of the pack" Nico spoke in a calm manner

"WHAT?? NO, NO WAY,  I AM NOT LIVING WITH SOMEPETTY HUMANS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE YOU LUNATICS" Eva screamed at us

"I don't think you are in any position to be picky, the alternative is death and if you prefer that to living on the human territory than I will not stop you, in fact I'll even snap your neck" Nico sad coldly

"Oh, and Aiden, this sentence is final, she will be moved to the mentioned territory, she is not allowed to visit here or anywhere else on any pack' territory, from now on her only place of residence is in the human territory, she is to be banned from this pack permanently, if any of you disagree, the alternative has been given to" Nico said turning to Aiden

"She will move, from today forward, she is banned from all pack territories except for the human town"

"Good, then the meeting is adjourned"

After Aiden agreed to Nico's terms we left for our room and started packing our things for our trip back to our pack

I am so sorry that I don' update daily or even weekly, law school's been crazy lately and between school and my job I don' have much free time to upload or write the story as frequently as I'd like to...
