Level Cap = The maximum level you can reach in a game. This depends on the game you’re playing, but you generally hit it when you’ve finished the quests from the main quest line. Some games will have some extra quests after you hit the level cap, to introduce you to the final dungeons or other content, but when you hit the level cap, you can’t collect any more levelling XP. After this, you start collecting better gear and sometimes secondary types of experience points. That is, until an expansion or something comes out. Like in a relationship, when you tell the other person you love them and when you’re in a relationship is the first level cap, until the ‘living together’ or ‘getting married’ or such expansions becomes available. Then you’ll be able to reach a new level cap. You
