Epilogue Fleur Elysium = Greek mythological version of paradise. It’s the afterlife meant for heroes chosen by the gods. It’s a beautiful place where the weather is always good, the food is plenty and life is easy. It’s paradise. While in real life, this place does not exist, I do feel like this when I’m with Alex, and for me, that’s just as important. I’m nervous, I keep running my hands over my skirt, trying to dry them off. Alex’ mum puts her hand on my arm, squeezing a little. I look up at her and she smiles at me.
