She got to her room in the suite and slumped on the bed. She took out the document from her handbag and gazed at it still pondering. She opened her laptop and searched the name Vincent Steele expecting to see nothing but immediately the page loaded, several topics and information popped out and so did her eyes. From what she gathered, This man was in the top 5 list of most wealthy and handsome men in the world and he was the richest in the country No 1 on the list. Celine covered her mouth in suprise and immediately flashed back to the way she spoke to him earlier. 'If I actually become a wife to him, It would be a good decision as the only disadvantage is no love. I will just benefit from him' The pros of the marriage outweighed the cons and she decided to sign the document after all what did she have to lose? Money would no longer be a problem for her and he was good looking. 'I wonder if there will be any intimacy as I don't want that and why did he choose me when there are other beautiful socialites and rich well known ladies?' She thought frowning. She suddenly had the thought that she didn't deserve him but since he was the one who offered the proposal, she might as well accept and curing her mother would no longer be an issue. She laid on her bed for a few hours quietly, she paced around the room before going off to have chicken dumplings since this was about her favorite food. She walked back to the document and signed her name on it and tucking in neatly into her handbag. She had one week to make her decision but she had already signed it on the first day. She laughed at herself and felt her life was going to change from the point she handed the document back to the lawyer signed. A good or bad change she didn't know. A week later, they finished filming but Celine did her best to ignore Priscilla who kept acting awful and seemed to be planning something. She called Vincent that particular day and told him she had signed the document. When she arrived at the meeting place, she saw only the lawyer who told her that he was asked to collect it since the boss had an important meeting to attend. She didn't know if to feel bad or happy about but then she shrugged helplessly. ~~••~~~~••~~ "Hello son, we have something to discuss with you so you might as well come over to the mansion for dinner tonight" A manly voice spoke through the phone. Vincent sat tiredly on a white couch with his legs stretched out in front of him. His suit jacket was off and his tie was loose with a few buttons open. It was obvious he hadn't just gotten back from somewhere. "Tell you what dad? I...I..." He stumbled over his words, looking for an appropriate excuse but he was never good at lying so he failed miserably that a baby could tell he was lying, "I have to travel... no go pay grandma a visit tonight. It's been a long time" he said with feigned interest. "Your grandma is here and shush I don't want to listen to any excuses anymore. Be home tonight." His father warned. "Urghh" He rested his head on his palm lamenting his 'misfortune'. He didn't refuse to go home because he was tired but because of the pressure he would face during the dinner. Hours later, "Mom, Dad" He greeted them. There were three others at the table. His two brothers and a woman who had met several times before. Grandma wasn't there, it was just a ploy to get him to come. He groaned in his mind feeling that this wasn't going to be an ordinary dinner. His brothers acknowledged his arrival with smiles and nods which was suprising since they were always at each others' throats regarding who would inherit the family company. Mr Steele, their father was currently the chairman and highest shareholder in the company but would soon retire. "Hey Vincent" A sweet female voice said. The speaker had a sweet innocent smile on her face. She was a very beautiful curvy young woman probably not older than 24. She wore light makeup and a pale blue expensive high-end gown looking fairy like and breath taking. She was the only child and daughter to a wealthy couple who were business partners with Mr Steele. She was given the title of the No 1 socialite and won several awards in the country and she was said to be the most beautiful woman in the country and was into the entertainment industry making her a very spectacular admired person. But despite all this, Vincent didn't bat an eyelid or even look in her direction at all making it seem like she was invisible. She bit her lips and talked to him again, only then did he answer with apathy, "Oh Camilla, you are here" He said lightly glacing at her. Her heart wavered seeing his handsome cold face and an determined look appeared on her eyes. "Yes and now you are here, we could start the meal I guess. Right Aunt May?" She smiled innocently as he sat down calmly. "Of course Cammie dear" His mother said with an indulging smile. It was clear she had a soft spot for Camilla. ~~~~~~~~~ Celine changed into a plain white T T-shirt and brushed her hair while looking at herself. Her hair fell softly on her shoulder revealing her smooth collar bone and flawless exquisite face. No one recognized her beauty mainly became she was not famous or rich but she hoped to change her life if this drama truly succeeds. She lay on her bed and fiddled with her phone for a while before falling asleep. Then she changed her clothes and decided to visit her mother since she has wanted to a long time ago but had no chance unfortunately. ~~~~~~~~~ "Vincent could you pass me the pudding?" "Could you pass me the napkin?" "Are you..." "How did..." Camilla said continuously trying to involve him in a conversation but all she got was short perfunctory replies which made it impossible to talk to him. At last, his mother gave a signal to her husband and he nodded slightly and addressed his eldest son, "Son, I know we have talked about this and it hadn't been too long ago but when are you getting married?" And he felt serious gazes directed at him. Camilla was considered to be family by them because she had been close to them since her childhood so his parents were not uncomfortable discussing family matters around her at all. "I know we've talked about this before but when are you getting married son? Come on you are twenty-six already". "Dad we talked about this just two days ago! Besides its not like am over forty and Talen and Aaron are yet to get married why not disturb them?" Vincent said frustrated at the constant increasing pressure on him by his parents to get married. "His mother ignoring his words added "I do agree with you father or I will set you on a blind date." She threatened and before he could say anything, Aaron whispered slyly "Camilla will do. She is the most perfect for brother". Camilla blushed looking at Vincent from the sides of her eyes and threw a napkin at Aaron and rolled her eyes at him though happy in her mind. The blind date threat and his brother mentioning Camilla tipped him of the edge as yesterday knew his mother would really do it and as for Camilla, he didn't like her. Why? he didn't know but then he remembered something. "I have a girlfriend already."
