Duvalier. I huffed as I glared out of the window, my mind still filled with a mix of anger and guilt. The events of the previous moments had left me shaken, realizing how my actions had harmed Victoria, someone who didn't deserve it. Anna's voice interrupted my thoughts. "She's stable, her wounds will heal in a few days. Duvalier, we have boundaries," Anna said, trying to reason with me. "You should learn to mind your business," I retorted, my frustration evident. "I am your wife, and I will not let you do stupid things. What were you thinking? She's like five foot one and slightly petite. How did you expect her to fight you? Are you high on something?
