Duvalier. I exhaled a cloud of smoke from my cigar, its tendrils dancing in the air like wraiths. Leaning back, I fixed my gaze on Travis, his fingers wrapped around a glass of bourbon. "Tomorrow, I'm headed to Le Grand," I said, the words tinged with an air of finality. Travis brought the glass to his lips, his eyes curious. "Leaving so suddenly?" he asked, his voice carrying a note of intrigue. A faint smile played on my lips as I responded, "Need to retrieve some files and fetch wines for Anna." Impatience crept into my tone – this trip couldn't conclude soon enough. At least with Travis by my side, I wouldn't be alone, and Victoria, the maid, would remain under watch.
