We left the hospital. Sebastian talked to Josh to investigate the identities of the men who attacked him. Josh accompanied us home to help me take Sebastian to the room.
I helped him get changed and go to bed, lying down next to him after giving him the painkiller. I caressed his cheek and gave him kisses, making him smile.
"Thank you," he said between my kisses, and I gave him a strange look. "For being with me at this moment," he continued as he caressed my face.
"I know you would be there for me," I responded, looking at him.
He let out a smile. "I would do that and more for you." I kissed him again, and he caressed my face.
I settled next to him, hoping he could sleep.
A month later...
I spent the month between Sebastian's recovery and work, but he is much better
