The Siren's Vampire Soulmate

CHAPTER 11

Matthew: 

I felt a weird pang in my stomach, and then my throat started burning.I clenched onto my stomach, trying to understand what this feeling was. But it was weird, I could tell this wasn't me. "Matthew are you okay?" I looked up at Izzy, and shooked my head. "I feel like I'm ill. How's that possible? I'm a vampire." She put her hand on my forehead. No doubt, trying to get a closer look at my mind, to figure out what was going on. "I think something is wrong with your human beloved, the pain is so great you're feeling her pain." My eyes went wide at her words. I ended up mind linking our third in commend. He was a computer genius, able to hack into anything and everything. "Devon, I need you to get information on my mate. Right now! Her address everything. Something is wrong!" I got very worried for my poor beloved. I'm not there, and I cannot take care of her. "Matthew," this time it was Sophie speaking to me. "Come on, calm down. I'm sure she is just fine. Probably just the flu, I'm sure she's just fine. Human's are such week, fragile creatures. Let's finish our meal." I didn't like how she was speaking about my beloved, yes, she might be human, but that doesn't mean she is week, or anything of the sort. I sighed, trying to calm myself down. I looked at my plate of food, and tried to enjoy it. It was my favorite after all. Spaghetti with blood sauce, blood type O negative. After finishing my meal, I excused myself. Before even leaving the room, I heard Devon's voice in my head. "You're not going to believe, what I found...." 

Zapphire: 

It felt like I was floating. I hated this half awake, but not awake state. I could tell my body almost recovered but not quite. I started hearing Melody, and Tori, might as well listen in. What else could I do right now? 

"Do you think she'll be okay Melody?" Tori asked. There was a moment of silence before I finally heard Melody. "I'm not sure, as far as we know. Matthew and Zapphire are the only siren/vampire bonded pair. I don't know what it all entails." I felt someone grab my hand. I bet it was Melody, because almost right away, I heard a growl. "I'm sorry, my wolf just doesn't like you touching another female, I'm an alpha, so I'm more protective and overbearing then any other wolf." I heard Melody giggle. "It's okay, I understand. Just please understand, Z... she's my maker. In our world, it almost makes us like mother and daughter, although, we more so look at ourselves as siblings. I love her very much, she's my family, I will not give her up." I felt my bed shift weirdly, they're probably both sitting on my bed now. They better not do any weird stuff in my bed. "No, no, no," I heard Tori say worriedly. "Please, don't think that. I know what type of relationship you have, Z has explained it to me. But my wolf is just... stupid, and just excited that we've found our mate. I'll try to control her better." I could picture Melody smiling like a goofball. She's been waiting forever to find her mate, worried that maybe she wouldn't be into women. I always knew that Melody was a lesbian, not that it matters. "That's okay, I hope eventually I can calm her down. What's your wolf's name?" I laughed mentally. I think I asked Tori the same question, the first day I met her, her wolf wanted her mate to name her, so she's always had no name. "She actually doesn't have a name, I was hoping maybe, you could help me with that... maybe you could meet her sometime?" Melody laughed softly, at Tori's words. Then I felt the bed move softly, and silence. Wait they wouldn't.... I bolted up right, feeling control over my body again. "I DO NOT WANT TO BE PRESENT FOR THE KISS, NO MATTER HOW CUTE THE MOMENT IS!" I said shouting, and then I fell back down, from the sudden rush and hit my head on my headboard. "Oh my Goddess!" I heard Melody yell, and then she stood up coming up over to me, examining my head. "Z, Goddess dammit! You need to be careful." I laughed. "Tori you'll have a great Luna. She's very caring and overprotective." Tori laughed with me then said, "I know I do, I've very lucky the Moon Goddess has gifted me with a beautiful, caring, and loving mate and Luna." I didn't have to look at Melody, to know that she was blushing. I was about to say something when I heard a knock at the door. I started getting up when both Tori and Melody tried to stop me. "Guys, it's probably just the mailman or something. I'm fine, I swear. Please, get to know each other. You just met, and I don't want to spoil this moment." I could see Melody scowling. But before she could say anything, I slipped out my bedroom, and went towards the door. Once I got closer, I smelled him. Not the mailman, that's for sure. I felt my fangs try to extend, but I held them back as best as I could. I guess I was going to have to face him sooner or later. I slowly opened the door, and looked up at Matthew. Goddess, why is he so much taller then me? "What are you doing here?" I asked, then stepped out the door and shut it. Not wanting Melody or Tori to hear me. Matthew, almost looked hurt, he shrugged it off quickly, but I felt.. bad. I probably said it to harshly. "I just, I felt something, and I needed to check to make sure you are okay..." I felt like there was something on the tip of his tongue, but he didn't say it. I tried to read his mind, but it just made me even more thirsty. I felt my fangs touch my teeth. I instinctively covered my mouth with my hand, and regretted it. Shock crossed Matthew's face, and I felt his arms around me. Which didn't help the situation at all, I felt the sparks, I felt my blood pumping in my arms. "What's wrong Zapphire!?" I heard Matthew say, and in doing so, I felt his cool breath on my face. I couldn't control it anymore, and I jumped on him. I pinned him down and sunk my fangs into his neck.
