When we entered into the house, I went straight to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of vampire blood and chugging it down, then grabbed another, chugging down that one. I finished about half of it and took a deep breath. "Thirsty?" Tori asked me, giggling at me. I nodded and took another sip. "I don't know what's gotten into me. I normally drink every few days and I'm just fine." I said, then watched Tori go deep into thought. I gave her a confused look. "Don't vampires go into a sorta blood frenzy when they meet their beloved, if they are human?" I shrugged, confused on what that had to do with me, I'm a siren. "What happens to sirens when they meet their soulmate?" I shrugged again. "I guess the same as werewolves. Hope to the Goddess, they're at least supernatural to make the mating process easier? When I first met Matthew as a human, everything I would say was normal, we met, and I slowly seduced him with my charms. My diet never changed, why would it?" I said, bringing the blood back to my lips. "Zapphire, don't you see? Vampires diet don't change when they have a vampire or even a shifter mate, because they are not something they feed on. Witch, fae, human, it changes. Because they can feed on their mate. Their thirst always increases. What if its the same in your case? A vampire and siren pairing has never happened, how are we to know the side affects?" I nodded slowly understanding her side. So now that I've found my mate again, and our bond is growing, my need for blood has increased, just like a vampire. I groaned in frustration. "I pray to the Moon Goddess I don't become like a vampire." I said taking the last hit of the blood, and Tori started laughing at me, holding onto her stomach. I threw the two bottles away, I wanted another bottle even, but I wanted to control my drinking. I do not need to become a binge drinker, or drink as irresponsible as some vampires. Tori was looking around my house at this point. When we had walked in, to the left was the way to the kitchen, to the right the garage and a half bathroom, if you want straight ahead, you'd meet up with living room, then connected to it was the dinner room, the secret bookcase and then of course the stairs to upstairs, where our bedrooms, and other bathrooms where. "Would you like me to show you around the house Tori." I asked her. She sighed and nodded. Maybe she wasn't looking at the house, maybe she was wondering where Melody was. I couldn't imagine what was going through her mind, going through waiting to see if the girl I was talking about was her mate, coming to meet her, but she's not even home, even though her car was in the driveway and you were getting all ready. Once we got upstairs, I just showed her my room and we entered. My room was pretty simple. When you entered you saw a regular sized bed on the side by the door, a vanity to the right of the bed, in the middle of the room was a love seat couch, ahead of it was the little entertainment station I had set up, it had a nintendo switch, gamecube, play station, flat screen tv, a buttload of games and movies, and then to the left of that was my basically pure white bathroom except for the black decoration I put in there. My room basically only had, black, royal blue, and then a few things were white. "You must really like black Z." Tori said while giggling at me. No doubt, this was probably very gothic looking, compared to her girly pink bedroom, although, it would be pretty gothic anyways. What can I say? I'm almost 200 years old. I grew up in a very different time. I laughed with her a nodded. "Yeah, I guess it just goes with everything, I don't have to think weather or not, I matched things properly." Tori walked over to my white vanity, and looked at the make up I had. Melody felt the need to stock it with all the best brands. "It doesn't have to match Z, it just has to go together. You can even mix prints, it all just has to go together." I shook my head as she took out one of my eyeshadows, and begin swatching it. "See that's exactly why I just stick with black. I have no idea what you mean. It's just easier for me to stick with black." Tori nodded. "Can I do your makeup?" I shook my head. "Maybe later, I'll let you do it if Matthew agrees to go on a dinner outing with me." Tori whipped her head back up at me, looking shocked. "You're gonna give him a shot!?" I nodded and sighed. "Although I think it's more like, hopefully he gives me a chance. A chance to explain myself. A chance to prove I'm worthy of him. I love him, and as you and Melody keep telling me The Moon Goddess never makes mistakes. Maybe It's about time I listened." Tears threatened to spill from my eyes thinking about what all I've done. I cupped my hand over my mouth, scared to let a sob come out. I felt Tori's arm go around me, pulling me in for a hug. But at the same moment, I smelled Melody and my stomach clenched. "Mate...." I thought I heard, but I ran to the bathroom and ended up puking all of the vampire blood up. I felt Melody come up behind me and pull my hair from my face, and start rubbing my back trying to soothe me. What the hell is going on with me? I thought before I fell back onto Melody, feeling myself get light headed, and seeing little black dots blurring my vision.
