Chapter 26I spent Saturday and Sunday at the Lazy Eight because it took all that time to get drunk. I was going pretty good Saturday night, but Aden showed up with a pretty, plump girl who couldn’t of been a day over sixteen. Of course, the guy on the door wouldn’t let them in, but Aden had accomplished his purpose, I saw him with her. It was his way of saying he wasn’t queer. That sobered me up enough so the rest of the night was just spending my money without getting anything out of it. I was kind of rowdy, so nobody’d go home with me but Two O’clock Woman.
