Chapter 17Some nights Daniel stayed with me, and others he disappeared over to Lisa’s, but every morning he showed up at the house ready to work on the business. We went around the reservation to arts and crafts people, working out prices and picking up samples. We figured out budgets, what we could spend and where. That is, Daniel figured them out and gave them to me to look over.
Barry Whiteside called Wednesday singing with his tail up, he was so happy with the sample bonnets we sent. He asked for some more and put in a good order for baskets.
