I sit down at my desk and start doing my reports. Then I wonder why in the world I dressed like a queen to do this. But I finish the reports.
"You about done?" Dr. Cruor is in the doorway.
"Yes."
"Dr. Sanesto is asking for the medical files on Elroy."
"Figured he would eventually. I really don't have any. I only seen him briefly here and there. I was on vacation most of it. I would peek in between them to make sure he was progressing, but you were his acting doctor. Not me."
"Let him know that please."
"Of course."
I step into Elroy's room. "Doctor Sanesto, Prince Elek. I was told you are collecting records. To be clear, I was not the acting doctor for Elroy. I was there when he was found. And I would check on him every 3 to 5 days. I did take notes of the progress he made."
