Aurora's POV
When I opened my eyes, the room looked strange and unfamiliar to me.
My head felt heavy, and my body ached like I had been dragged through hell and back.
For a moment, a spark of hope flickered inside me. Was I free? Had I escaped Kevin’s clutches?
But then as I turned my head, I saw Kevin.
He sat in a chair beside the bed, his face dark with anger.
