Chapter Twenty-Two – DCI BeckleyMonday 28 December 2015. Morning This case is a f*****g nightmare. We have no suspects and the body count is mounting. Our only glimmer of hope was Hannah and now she's dead. The senior sister informed us that she had developed a sudden bleed on her brain and she was pronounced dead at 7.35am. I'm in the Incident Room staring at each of their faces and their bludgeoned corpses on display. I'm both puzzled and intrigued by the red Casein yarn fibres. He must encase his kill tools inside it to neatly conceal and store them. They are a part of his fantasy world that he must keep closely guarded. The items will be kept tucked away at his home or in his car, out of sight. What about his trophies? If he's keeping their fingers, rather than just severing them
