His dry, cracked lips stretched into a wry smile, recalling vivid footage of her desperate eyes pleading with him to stop. He craved fresh meat. The enjoyment of their torment dispelled the rage he felt. His teeth ground together, as recollections of his tormented past resurfaced. He felt agitated and increasingly angry at the mounting attention his activities were attracting.
