The bell rang.
“That'd be all for today's class…your assignment is to make a note on why the bridge is still in function.” He said as he packed his bags and was about to leave.
I got up and was about to leave but Cassian wasn't making a move to leave. “Hey baby, you good?” I asked.
“Yes, I am fine.” He said, his voice sounding opposite of his answer.
“Okay, I am heading out for my AP class, are you not going out?”
“Nah, I have another class here.” He replied, being dismissive.
“Okay, see you at lunch?” I asked and he nodded.
I leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips without caring if anyone was looking. “Bye D.”
