Elizabeth POV

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me till I got back home. On getting home I saw cops they were outside the compound talking with my parents. I stopped running because I was home, I was safe immediately my mum made eye contact with me she came running to me. My dad followed, before my mum could get to my side I passed out.

I gaps for air when I woke getting the attention of my mother. Don't worry you're fine now, you're safe nobody is going to hurt you again, mummy said.

Back in the pack hospital, my father and mother have been worried sick about me. When I regained consciousness my first word was 'mate' , they looked at me puzzled before coming closer to my bed. Son are you alright, my father asked. I need to see my mate, I need to check if she's alright, I said almost jumping out of the hospital bed. You found your mate, my mum asked. Yes, but she's human, I said. My mother looked at me surprised and to my father and then back to me again. That's good news when do we get to meet her, my mum asked. My father didn't say a word, he was sad I could sense it. Was he not happy I found my mate or was he sad I got a human for a mate, these are the questions I asked myself. He later walked out of the room. Don't worry about him am sure he's more happy than I am, mum said.

Chris POV

The bullet shot at me was silver making it hard for me to heal in time. Last night is an unforgettable tale, I was afraid of losing my mate. Alex on the other hand was ready to kill those two but unfortunately we got shot. If not for Elizabeth move we won't be here today. Now my father, I don't know if he's happy or sad about me finding my mate.

Elizabeth POV

I didn't go to school today, I just stayed up in my room on my bed recalling everything that happened. Recalling those blue eyes that I saw. When I saw those blue eyes I felt safe, I felt like my knight was here to save. When it got shot I felt pain in my heart and the fact that that man wanted to shoot him, I lost it and I hit him in the head. I don't know if it was dead or alive, come to think of it. Those eyes I use to see in the dream belongs to a wolf, I asked myself. I just feel attracted to it.

The following day I went to school and the talk was in school. I could tell from how some students were looking at me. I heard some of them whisper how I was almost kidn*pped and also how I ran into the woods with the men chasing and I returned without anyone behind me. Some said I killed them while some said I escaped from them. I was in my locker when Amanda came in. Well look who it is, Amanda said. What do you want now Amanda, I asked.

Don't give me that look did you all see the look she gave to me, Amanda asked. Don't look at her like that or do you want to kill her like you did those men, Lily said covering Amanda's face. I know they are enjoying it so I had to leave them. The third bell ran which means we need to prepare for the next class, on my way to my class I saw two people walk into the principal's office. The lady behind looks like Chris a little, I guess she's his mother. I Shaked it out of my head as I went to my next class.

Elizabeth, Molly called. I turned around and saw Molly running to me. She hugged me immediately she got close. Thank God you are still alive, I heard what happened, she said. You don't need to worry am totally fine, I assured her. We heard the bell and we knew it was lunch time, Molly and I walked to the cafeteria sat at our favorite spot. And I remembered how Chris sat close to me, come to think of it he wasn't in class today. Did Chris come around yesterday, I asked. No he didn't even today too, Molly answered. Oh I see, I said.

I was drinking cola when I was called me. I turned around and saw that same woman I saw entering the principal's office. She beckoned me to come and I went to meet her. You're sure a pretty girl, she commented. Thank you ma, I replied. I'm Susan Chris's mother, she said stretching her hand. Nice to meet you Mrs. Susan, I said taking her hand shake. Actually Chris sent me to you, he said I should send his greetings and he's sincerest apologies for not showing up in school, she said.

Hope he's okay, I asked. She smiled and answered me, well he's a little bit under the weather. Oh, am so sorry to hear that, I said. He promises to make it up to you, I have to go now, she said. Okay, say me hi to him, I said to her. Sure he'll hear, she replied as she walked into her car. 'Wow Chris mom is so cool and beautiful. Now I know where he got his handsomeness from. I haven't seen his dad yet and am already judging, I said to myself' I went back to the spot to meet Molly. Who was that, Molly asked. That was Chris mother, I replied.

Molly, I called. Uhm, she answered. Remember when I told you about those blue eyes I always see in my dreams, I asked. Yes, she replied nodding. What about it, she asked. I saw the blue eyes that night but it was a wolf, I said. What, Molly asked almost yelling. Shh, keep your voice down, I said trying to close her mouth. Here's not a good place to discuss about it anyway, how about my house tonight, Molly suggested. Okay, I replied.

How can't they just bring her to me? Why does the wolf have to interfere. We don't know boss. I must finish what my father started. Send someone to the hospital to finish the job. Yes boss. Remember not to leave a trace, I do not want the same mistake. If not.... I understand boss. Good
