Abigail’s POV The afternoon air greets me as I step out of the school building, Luca remained by my side. My legs feel heavy, every step toward the parking lot dragging as my mind replays the confrontation in the classroom. My stomach twists with lingering tension, and my grip tighten around the straps of my bagpack. Nathan’s words echo in my head, sharp and biting, meeting with Luca’s voice as he stood his ground against Nathan.
