IVAN'S POV
I had ruined everything. Even if I was not sure of the extent of the damage I had caused before, the amount of comments bashing Reign was enough to tell me what I had done. I fed her to the wolves.
But I refused to regret it. I did it to protect her, after all. Father already thought she was dare to me, if I went ahead to defend her after he warned, Reign would be in danger. And I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if anything happened to her because of me.
I already had a glimpse of that when I barged into her room after her identity was discovered online. I had never felt fear as deep as that before. Her eyes were closed and her body cold to the touch, it was one of the most terrible things I have ever had to face. Everyone had to think I hated her for her own good.
