The address Mel gave me was a cozy looking cafe. Just looking at it alone made me feel good. There was almost a skip in my steps as I entered the cafe. The chime of the bell signalling my entrance. The cafe was not too big so spotting Mel was not an issue.
As usual, she was dressed impeccably. I wondered how she managed to look good and still not go over the top. I plastered a smile on my face and walked towards her. The click of my heels had her looking up. My chest warmed as her lips widened into a smile when she spotted me.
No one had ever been that excited to see me.
